The 2011 UK Jazz Radio Young Jazz Performers Award for Jazz Musicians up to 23 years of age
Following the success of last years Young Jazz Performers Awards, this years Awards will be UK wide! we invite Jazz artists from all corners of the UK to take part in the UK's biggest Jazz event.
Young Musicians up to the age of 23 are invited to enter in one of the regional heats leading up to the final on November 13th 2011 at the Wilde Theatre, South Hill Park, Bracknell
There are 4 categories
1. Best Group Performance
2. Best Solo Performance
3. Best Composition
4 Best Vocalist
Performers may enter any of the categories which must be clearly stated in the entry form..
Prizes are: All finalist receive a trophy, the winners receive a winners Trophy.
There is also a prize to the Best Individual Instrumentalist of an Instrument from Raw Brass - from the one of the following instruments
Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Flugel Horn and Cornet
The winners also receive a paid gig at a top festival in 2012, promotion on UK Jazz Radio and UK Jazz TV, an invitation to join the UK Jazz Now booking and Promotions Agency plus being invited to join the UK Jazz Now Recording Label.
