Tony Vasques

Tony is the host of Latin Perspective a 1 hour syndicated radio show based out of Cleveland, Ohio, that features classic and contemporary Latin Jazz music. Along with his radio show, Tony is a percussionist and a former band leader of a Latin Jazz Big Band. He is also well informed on the history of the Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz music traditions. He has conducted lectures and discussions on the music and Latin Percussion workshops and seminars that not only involve hands-on playing but also explaining the history of each instrument.
