Brian is Music and programme director for Uk Jazz Radio. It has been Brian's goal for many years to have a full 24/7 real jazz radio station...the web has now made it possible.

Brian presents shows on Uk Jazz Radio but this days is very much involved with the day to day running of the station.
Brian is a musician with a passion for Blues and Jazz which shows in the programming on Uk Jazz Radio.

Uk Jazz Radio has many projects planned for 2010 and beyond. The one that is very near to brian's heart is the Young Jazz Performer Award. When Brian started playing there was no formal Jazz courses. He remembers the hard slog to get any sort of coaching or help in jazz. Now, with the help of Uk Jazz Radio, he has the means of helping up and coming jazz musicians with exposure on radio, a recording label and promotional advice.

NYJO, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, is near to Brian's heart and is being championed by UKJR. Brian's 15 year old son Bennett plays Tenor Sax with NYJO......
All in all it's a dream come true for Brian........
