In 2009, UK Jazz Radio launched as a pure jazz internet music radio station - broadcasting to the UK, Europe and the World - After 3 Years we are probably the most listened to dedicated jazz station in Europe! UK Jazz Radio presents all genres of jazz 24/7 with new shows every day. Throughout the day and night, we have the widest possible choice of quality jazz shows with repeats throughout the weeks at varying times to enable people in all time zones across the globe to find a convenient opportunity to listen plus a Jazz On Demand Page where shows may be listened to at any time. Daily, more and more listeners join us from across Europe and the rest of the world so we must be doing something right. We put much of our success down to our philosophy of listening to our audience and musicians in line with our motto: From jazz people, for jazz people! UK Jazz Radio was founded by jazz musician and broadcaster, Brian Soundy, and internet radio pioneer and broadcaster, John Hicks. They combined their interests, and shared passion for live music, to create an on-line radio station which took the jazz world by storm, attracting a million listeners a month in just over a year of broadcasting.
