An award-winning Australian jazz singer based in Brisbane Queensland. Ingrid gave up her career in television production with the ABC network to pursue her love of jazz. Following post graduate studies in Vocal Pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 2001.
Ingrid has performed as a soloist with the Queensland Orchestra and appeared on national television specials while maintaining a busy schedule of corporate events, teaching both privately and at the Jazzworx Institute as well as running workshops and master classes locally and internationally in the United States, France and London.
Performing regularly at Australian jazz festivals she has also been
producing a jazz singers' jam night for 8 years and has been artistic director of local jazz festivals as well as vice president of Jazz Queensland, the jazz cultural organisation in the State.
In her program, Ingrid will present vocal
and instrumental jazz recordings from Australia.
You'll be treated to the distinctive sounds of classic,
contemporary and original jazz from Australian jazz artists.
